We'll figure it all out later

When half the Provincial budget comes from transfer payments from other provinces anyway, they can afford to introduce measures to cripple the economy.

Here's how cap-and-trade works.

Speaking of competence, "City council is poised to approve the purchase of a police helicopter today and then wait until the new year for a report about the costs and benefits."

With a council of children at 510 Main Street, egged on by their arrogant older brother on Broadway, it is no wonder Winnipeg ("it's like a small town") needs L.A.-size crime-fighting tactics.

Winnipeg could benefit from some global warming. Too bad it's all fraudulent junk science.

Wasn't the thought on the acid rain trading system similar? Many said it would bankrupt the world and do nothing.

For acid rain cap and trade, the costs were one quarter the predicted costs and the reduction targets were achieved in 2007, three years ahead of schedule.

Certainly I would like to hear the costs of such a program for Manitoba but we have gone down this route before.

Crazy me, I just accept what a huge majority of climate experts are saying...
Now if we could just accept that we have to make some sacrifices (like the WWII generation) and adopt some plain old, straightforward carbon taxes...
A man can dream, can't he?
